Welcome to Starfish-ECC Connect! 

Your success matters! El Camino College (ECC) is committed to providing high quality academic and student services support to help students succeed in their educational goals.

During Fall 2017, ECC will be piloting Starfish-ECC Connect, a system designed to provide a central location for students, instructors, counselors, and other support staff to connect and communicate. Research has shown that students who feel connected and supported during their educational experience tend to be more successful academically.

Students and instructors participating in Starfish-ECC Connect may receive notification via ECC email.

Instructors interested in participating in our pilot can do so in the following two ways:

1. Complete Progress Surveys that are automatically emailed to you during the 4th and 9th weeks of the semester. These are built into the system and generated for you to provide feedback on each student that is on your class roster. If interested in this option, please click on the link below.

2. I would like Self-Initiated Tracking Items/Flags on individual students as needed.  If so, you can attend  one of the following  Drop-In training sessions which will be held in West Basement Library Training Room 19:

Monday, October 23rd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm 


Tuesday, October 24th from 8:30 am - 11:30 am


Thursday, October 26th from 9:00 am -12:00 pm
